How
It all started

After working in the Umag Health Center for 25 years, Ivan Šiljeg set the foundations for our family Polyclinic Šiljeg in 1992. In the following year he was joined by his daughter Jelena Šiljeg Batagelj who specialized in orthodontics in 1998. and his son Jurica Šiljeg became an oral surgery specialist in 2005.
Thanks to continuous improvement, high service standards and an open approach, during the years that have passed we have gained trust from thousands of clients from Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

We are proud of the family tradition of our polyclinic that was founded by Ivan Šiljeg in 1992. On those foundations was built our team of doctors specialized for orthodontics and oral surgery, offering services in conservative dentistry, implantology, prosthetics and facial aesthetics.

Jurica Šiljeg
Dr. dent. med. oral surgery specialist

Jurica Šiljeg, dr. dent. med. spec. graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 1999. and in 2005. he passed the specialist exam in oral surgery under the mentorship of prof. dr. sc. Davor Katanec. He continued his professional career in the Polyclinic Šiljeg, in which he works today.

He is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine, the Croatian Society of Oral Surgery and the Croatian Society of Maxillofacial, Plastic and Reconstructive Head and Neck Surgery.

He is continuously improving in his professional field and actively participating in numerous oral surgery and facial aesthetic medicine courses worldwide. The focus of his interests are BTI implants and Endoret PRGF® technology and their application in aesthetic medicine.

In 2017. he was chosen as the Key Opinion Leader in the Croatian Institute of BTI Technology.

Mr.sc Jelena Šiljeg Batagelj, dr. dent. med. graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 1993. and after that received her master’s degree in the same institution in 1998.

Thanks to nearly 30 years of experience in dentistry and orthodontics, dr. Šiljeg gained the trust of numerous patients from Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

Se is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine, the Croatian Orthodontic Society and the Croatian Medical Association.

Polyclinic

The polyclinic has three contemporary decorated offices in which we conduct services in dentistry, prosthetics, orthodontics and oral surgery. The offices are equipped with modern technology and equipment for diagnostics, dentistry treatments and facial aesthetic treatments.

The polyclinic entrance is equipped with an elevator to cater to people with disabilities and we have parking spaces available.
